A unique 4 week Anahata Yoga Teacher training course where students will on completion receive 2 Anahata Yoga certificates, the 200 hour certificate (accredited by the Yoga Alliance and internationally recognised) and another one for teaching the Five Element Form.
After last year´s great resonance, the Yoga Teacher Training / Yogalehrerausbildung with Peter Clifford will take place again in 2017 in Salzburg, Austria.
Our Yoga Teacher Training is the only 200 hour training led by Peter Clifford this year and assisted by his long-time students and Yoga teachers Karoline Zenz and Samura Dakini. It´s a wonderful opportunity to study exclusively in a small group and gain the most from a vast pool of knowledge and experience.

The course will equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to teach yoga at many levels, on and off the mat. The course also includes learning and being certified to teach the first level of the Five Element form.
The course is on the one hand perfect for students to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to teach Yoga at many levels. On the other hand the course is also perfectly appropriate for anybody who doesn´t necessarily want to teach Yoga but broaden his/her professional experience through Yoga e.g. physiotherapists, ergo-therapists, massage therapists, teachers and business managers. Furthermore, the course is ideal for anyone who wants to invest in their personal development and expand their knowledge about Yoga.
What do you receive?
This is a unique double certificate course where successful participants will receive – apart from all the fun & knowledge – a RYT200 Yoga Teacher certificate recognised by the Yoga Alliance and a Yoga Teacher certificate in the Five Element Form, which enables them to teach the form. Each component of our unique course supports the other. The study of Hatha Yoga philosophy and practice creates a deep understanding of the benefits and internal effects of Yoga. Studying the Five Element Form increases sensitivity to the Pancha Koshas (the five sheaths of the human body) and the energetic dance of Shiva and Shakti. The combined benefits of these unique practices will facilitate the development of a deep and versatile personal practice and empower our graduates to safely and successfully share the magic of Yoga. The course offers a transformative and life-changing experience in a beautiful environment.
Course language will be English. An extensive manual will be provided and included in the course fee. Classes will start at 7.00 am and finish at around 6.00 pm and will be held on five days per week, with Saturdays and Sundays off.

Peter is the founder and director of Anahata Yoga, senior yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) and teacher of the Five Element Form. Peter has studied and practiced yoga for 52 years.
He has had the honour of studying with many wise and knowledgeable teachers in India including Swami Shankara, Swami Sarasvati, TKV Desikachar, AG Mohan, BKS Iyengar and Rishi Nityabhodananda.
Combining his study of Anahata Yoga with a lifelong interest in learning about bio-mechanics, postural integration, anatomy and physiology, Peter has developed the unique, powerful and comprehensive Anahata Yoga philosophy.
Peter’s teaching style reflects his experience as a household yogi and his training in Assam, India. He embodies the qualities of grace, humour, compassion and non-judgement, and provides his students with the tools to apply the philosophy of yoga to all aspects of daily life. His classes are joyous, opening and transformational.
The Yoga Teacher Training / Yogalehrerausbildung will take place at the wonderful Ayurveda-Center in Hallein, just 20 minutes outside of Salzburg city. The location was chosen with much care in order to provide a rich, deep experience for the students.
Set in a magic mountain scenery in the heart of Europe, it holds a peaceful atmosphere. Next to the Yoga room we have a beautiful garden and sauna available for relaxation.
We recommend a Hotel called “the Kolpinghaus”, it is in the middle of the old town of Hallein only a three minutes walk from the Forsthaus where the YTT takes place. Rooms are all different, as the Kolpinghaus is a complex of seven modern refurbished townhouses. Rooms have attached bathrooms and there are shared cooking facilities in the house with a private fridge. You can have a look at the rooms at the Kolpinghaus website under “Sommerhotel”.

Food is not included in the price of the YTT. There is a broad range of cafés, restaurants, markets and supermarkets within a few minutes walking distance from the Forsthaus. We have a cooperation with a nearby bakery which offers a vegetarian lunch for € 4,50.
Anahata Yoga’s Teacher Trainings are open to everyone. However, students are expected to have a commitment to participate fully and a genuine intention to learn and grow in the study of yoga. While it is expected that most students will have at least a year’s experience of on going yoga practice, anyone with a desire to learn and a passion for yoga is welcome. While the course can be an intense experience, it is also joyful, transformative and profoundly rewarding. We promise you it’s worth the effort!
